Thoughts About COVID-19(Coronavirus) And Current State Of The Domain Market

The world is having extraordinary times and it seems like it’s going to be the same or worse for the following few months (At least). COVID-19 (Coronavirus) became a pandemic and as of now, 120.944 cases confirmed ,within 118 countries, by the authorities.

Stock market and oil prices are collapsed. Lots of companies are not available to work properly. Supply-demand chain is not working properly as well. Events from e-sports to concerts, weddings to funerals are being cancelled, rescheduled, postponed or banned.

What’s going to happen? I have no idea, at least until someone finds a cure or vaccine. What can we do? Here is a quick and simple list:

• Wash your hands with soap around 20-30 seconds for extra 4 times at least.
• No hugs for a while.
• Use your elbows to cover yourself when you cough or sneeze.
• Have some cologne with you.
• If you HAVE TO travel outside of your country (You better not), quarantine yourself in your home for at least 14 days.
• If you feel like sick, use a mask and go to a hospital.
• Stay clean.
• Try to stay away from shopping malls, theatre, concerts, or any other crowded places.
• Don’t trust politicians.

I’m afraid that’s all we can do for now. Future will tell more.

Lots of markets are affected by the COVID-19. Import and export numbers have been changing so fast, day by day, for all of the countries. Already massive amount of economical damage happened.

On the other side, lots of people have been discovered and discovering the importance of the internet. Lots of online entities are making money more than ever right now, including domainers. Lots of advertising, marketing people, business owners etc. decided to get into domains and have now time (more than ever) to search the best domain name for themselves or for their companies. Streets are empty but internet is crowded than ever! A lot of people realized that they HAVE TO have an online identity. It’s never too late! There are great domains for sale out there waiting for their new owners. It’s time to buy! Probably way more cheaper than 3 months ago. Buy a domain for yourself, for your company and/or for an investment. Hire a broker unless you feel like you have the knowledge.
