2025 In A Nutshell

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday. It actually takes around 30-minutes to write a blog post but I feel like 24-hours is not enough to find that 30-minutes of time to write regularly, even though I have so much to share.

This is my 16th consecutive year in domain industry. I’ve been playing with the data since my very first day in domain business. If I have to summarize 2025 with one sentence that’d be: “Statistics are like mini-skirts, they don’t reveal everything“.

Statistically, we all know that there are business-wise weak months, strong months, chill months. However, 2025 was an exception for me in SecretBrokerage.com. First quarter was weak, second quarter was weaker (supposed to be one of those strong periods), third quarter surprised me (summers supposed to be chill) and, 4th quarter was a banger. We even made a few deals in 30th of December (December 24-31 is supposed to be quite a weak period).

Another note: While the number of deals went down like 30-35%, the volume we did was more than doubled comparing t0 2024.

Here is a quick recap what we did at SecretBrokerage.com in 2025:

We closed 15 deals on behalf of our clients.

The total USD volume for those transactions is roughly $1.3M US.

The average price for a deal is roughly $86,600.00 US. If we remove the highest and the lowest deals, the average price is $68,750.00 US.

The lowest deal was $1,200 US.

The highest deal was $405,000.00 US.

There were two 6-figure deals, nine 5-figure deals and, five 4-figure deals.

Among those 15 deals, 4 of them were .COM, 3 .AI, 2 COM.AU, 2 .TV, 1 .ORG and, 1 .APP and, 1 .BOT and, 1 .MY.

This year, every single domain name we brokered were English, with one exception and, that was a Turkish one.

2026 started promising with an acquisition and lots of domains in the pipeline. I’ve some more stuff cooking for every single domain investor and broker in the domain industry and I’ll announce once they’re ready!
